The company is called Fresh Start and was warned about this company calling fron 0161 numbers. They re main purpose is to obtain your bank details, under no circumstances get in to a conversation with these people. they will rob you blind.

Call center Pertaining to be from Whoopsie.co.uk. Another boiler maintenance company. They actually seem to be a legitimate firm offering alternative boiler maintenance contract as insurance brokers.. However, I am already with British Gas and have no problems with them and also 7 month left on the contract. Rather pushy sales rep who insinuated I had wasted 20 minutes of her time. In that case, job done at this end I would say.

Answered because it showed a mobile number. Same as other reports, caller asked me to confirm that I had been in a car accident that wasn t my fault. I said no, and asked to be removed form the mailing list and not called again. She hung up. Blocked.

Fairly well spoken Man claiming I had just called him from my number. Repeatedly asked me for my name when I kept telling him that I hadn’t called him he kept asking me who he was speaking to! Told him I wouldn’t give him my name as he had called me and not the other way round. He went way in the end. Not sure if it was a genuine mistake on his part but I’d certainly not called anyone snd double checked my phone, but he was determined to try and get my name.

I asked who they represent and she said they work with a number of companies. I asked what her organisation was and she told me she'd get a manager to ring back in the next half hour. I have just reported them to the ico (information commissioners office), google them, give them a call and report this number, when they get enough complaints they can take the company to court and fine them A LOT OF MONEY. Justice. They just need people to report them enough as evidence, they cannot work on individual cases.

DO NOT ANSWER - Scam call from an Asian call centre, openly admitting to charging a premium rate for connecting your call. They begin the conversation stating they are a government scheme aimed at helping pay back loans etc. I received racial abuse from the caller while trying to get information out of him. Have checked all phone records to see if any charges have come through but none as yet, but am unaware if the included minutes have covered this somehow. BLOCK & REPORT.
