They called up asking if I had recently been involved in a car crash. It sounded similar to that scam that makes you say yes and then uses your recording to claim that you agreed to some contract or scam your credit card or something. They said the name very quickly at the beginning of the call. They quickly said that they will take my number off of their database and then they hung up. Had this number call me everyday. It s an automated machine call. I am going to email the company and tell them I will be charging them ?6 per call I receive plus another ?6 per minute duration of the call. And ?10 per letter / email I have to send them after.

Aggressive Indian call centre. Have called every day for a week so far. I ve given up asking to be removed from their caller list. Now hang up as soon as they identify themselves. did not pickup the phone as it was an unrecognised number. Number seems to relate to Cromer in Norfolk and appears to be another scam number as there are loads of other searches...

Hardly secret now, are they?! Google search says the number belongs to Lobb Builders in Clacton on Sea, Essex.

Fairly well spoken Man claiming I had just called him from my number. Repeatedly asked me for my name when I kept telling him that I hadn’t called him he kept asking me who he was speaking to! Told him I wouldn’t give him my name as he had called me and not the other way round. He went way in the end. Not sure if it was a genuine mistake on his part but I’d certainly not called anyone snd double checked my phone, but he was determined to try and get my name.

DO NOT ANSWER - Scam call from an Asian call centre, openly admitting to charging a premium rate for connecting your call. They begin the conversation stating they are a government scheme aimed at helping pay back loans etc. I received racial abuse from the caller while trying to get information out of him. Have checked all phone records to see if any charges have come through but none as yet, but am unaware if the included minutes have covered this somehow. BLOCK & REPORT.

Some pension scam "You are owed ?1,000 due to pension bla bla bla" utter crap -- just trying to con money out of people. If it was genuine they would have my address and have sent me a letter. Another number in my call blocker ---- best gadget I ever bought --- there is nothing like the satisfaction I get in putting people numbers in this - they only ring once and never again!

I have had 2 calls in the space of 2 hours about an alleged accident on the road. i have never had an accident and they cannot tell me what details they have about this so called accident. The first caller said they would remove my details but it didn t stop the second call 2 hours later.
