Call center - someone claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse. They said they had an offer and when I said I'm not interested, they wanted information about my current phone deal. I hung up.
Called from Citizens advice group. I questioned the male caller with a south Asian accent in some detail. He was very helpful. They were calling about debts and he asked what debts we had. I asked him where they got our number and he replied FCA ????????????. I then asked him for the person or department name as I have previously worked with FCA in the past, he didn’t give it to me. He was very polite and said he couldn’t continue. He also said they weren’t authorised in the UK!

Everyone should beware that there are many fake Crypto mining/clouding platform out there, I have been a victim of this circumstance but now a very good blockchain consultant and I know much better in this field. Didnt introduce himself, asked for me by name, said he was calling about my debts ( I dont have any so knew he was lying) I asked him to tell me about my debts, he said I was to tell him. I asked if he was a moron and he said " you are a moron debter" . Told him I would report him to the police and have blocked his number... this is most certainly a scammer. Elderly folk beware!!!

Overseas noisy background call centre female claiming to be from ‘the technical department’ not a specific company just technical department. Red flags were didn’t know my name or address. I challenged her told her she was talking rubbish about being a technical department. I used a few choice profanities to which she called me a few! I asked her if those were technical terms and she hung up! Obvious scamming call. The call was at 08:45 on a Saturday.
I receive many such calls but they never leave a message. If a message was left I would respond. If I answered all such calls I wouldn't have sufficient time to run my own business. This is the last time I shall respond in this manner.......if you are not going to leave a message then please don't waste my time and all future such calls will be blocked .....

This is a devious company called Customer Calls Ltd in London. If you search for Legal and General Insurance, you will find a site high in the search results that provides a premium rate number as a contact for Legal and General. They claim the number is cheap but it is not!! My wife was charged £16 for 13 minutes plus two text messages at £3 each to provide Legal and General's contact details that are readily available on the internet for free...AVOID!!!
