Indian accent man, all he did was asking me yes/no questions... like, are you ____? is ____ your postcode? have you got a mortgage? are you happy with your bank? After I replied to his questions he said ok have a lovely day an hung up... which I found weird. Unfortunately, it was until he hung up that I realised he might have been recording my yes/no answers to use this for any sort of identity fraud or scam... Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls - surveys, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 8439418xxx range... People don't fall for it. Did someone answer any number of this range?

Came home to an automated message on my answerphone claiming I had failed to pay a court order and bailiffs were on their way. No name and when I called the company they said they had no record of the account no they had left in the message and no record of my phone no. The message was threatening and it took 20 rep,ays to work out their phone no. It is disgusting that they can leave this type of message .
