Just received a call from an Indian sounding chap called Charles . Asked me to confirm if I was receiving a high volume of telemarketing calls, and that he could help. Gave me the 0845 number, and told me to call for a box to plug in to the phone for ?1 something per month. I asked him to hold on for a moment, muted the call, put it on speaker and just left the phone on the desk while I carried on with my work. Call center Lady calling from a Health Insurance provider insisting on asking a few questions that would take under a minute. Despite my polite response of not being interested she still pushed so I gave her a chance. They know my full name, postcode and house number and when asked where this data is from they said it’s from a public database. I wouldn’t call it harmful but definitely doesn’t understand the word “no”

This number called me asking they want to authorize payment worth of £600.00 to California. I do not know anyone from California first of all. When I said I do not have any knowledge of what you talking person on a phone said this is a fraud. So to stop this started asking me bank details which I refused to share and hung up. I repeatedly ask from where you calling? which bank? etc there was no straight forward answers. In the last I said you are a fraud and hung up.

Fraud HMRC tax fraud scam, they will tell you there is a warrant out for your arrest unless you pay £495.50 over the phone straight away, if you dont pay they threaten to have you arrested for non payment of taxes, when you say you dont owe any tax, they then say its for unpaid council tax do not engage with them, hang up phone straight away.

I just got a phone call from this number and it was a police officer.
Claimed to be from Amazon saying someone had ordered a iphone using my account and did I want to cancel the order?.. When I said I will call her back she hung up
I believe this is a scam they send me a text message saying this "To keep your giffgaff services running, sign in below and follow the steps immediately. https://ggteam.co". Could obviously tell since the link looks odd. Don't follow the link, nor reply to the text nor call them.
Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! They keep asking for Daniel Stevenson, it is not me! Firt I was polite, then I screamed as loud as I could a few times, then the final straw I lost it and swore, screamed, shouted and acted like a crazy man! The caller refered me to his supervisor where I carried on acting possessed and he eventually took me off the call loop! Only time will tell if I m actually off it! Several calls which if answered ring off a r/b states mailboxes are full and no account handlers available to respond meaning call cannot be actioned after which call disconnects.
I answered the phone within 2 rings and caller hung up immediately, it wasn't as if I'd kept them waiting.
Emma was a robot and kept repeating, after a short delay, the same thing, whatever my question. Told me it heard I was in a recent accident that wasn t my fault. It hung up.
