Just had a scam call from this number claiming to be Bank Security, about 2 so called payments on my accout, one to Amazon and on international transfer.

just called by this number. A robot call, falsely claiming my (credit card?) account has been charged twice and asking me to call another number. I immediately hung up and checked my account. No such sums had been taken. The large number of calls made from this number appears to confirm a scam attempt.

My wife answered the phone, and an apparently recorded message said that there was a suspicious transaction involving a £300 bill from Amazon which had not been paid. Then she was asked to press some number at which point she ended the call. I found the callers number by using 1471. The call appears to be a scam.

I received calls from people saying your number is showing up on their caller ID, it's likely that that my number has been spoofed by scammers. I don't have a business or anything like that. It’s a scam. It’s a person that will tell you it’s renting an apartment and you have to pay in advance. Don’t fall for that scam.

They called me while I was driving, so didn't pick up BUT they called 6 times over a period of 15 minutes! The voice mails was from a indian gentleman but I was unable to understand what they waned.
