Just got a call from this number. Why?

Calling unsolicited without authorization.

Phoned and left message to ring back. Gave a me a reference number and an extension number. Said they were from Lloyd's bank

These people obtain, STEAL, your tel. number from your ip address via metadata. Ever come accross annoying adverts when browsing online which doesn t let you close? ie. Engadget, youtube etc... Mine was a survey which popped up whilst online and I had to wait 20secs inorder to dismiss that advert. Enduring the agonising 20 secs. They asked for my wife - using her maiden name and we ve been married for 11 years, where do they get their info from?! Apparently 01234 339 numbers are allocated to BT, who in turn have sublet them to rogue operators like this. Anyroad: add this no. to your blocklist. You can t live without a phone with nuisance call protection nowadays.
