Did not know the branch he was working from and was pretty adamant to get card info to enroll for the so called promotion but I had already picked up that it was a scam so no information was provided.

Randomly messaged me on Whatsapp, entirely in Chinese. Says he messaged me by mistake. Claimed to be a 39 year old man named Nick who works in import and travels between the UK, US and Hongkong. Not sure why he continued the conversation but I told him there's no reason to strike up a conversation with a mistaken number.
01797 960 629 called 23 Jan 23 at 11:40 hrs,left no message. 01797 740 253 called 20 Jan 23 at 11:21 hrs, 01797 360 624 called 19 Jan 23 at 10:19 hrs 01797 740 264 called 18 Jan 23 at 17:40 hrs.... all the same result, No longer answering any call from this exch number.

This is either a scam or someone trying to sell something. When type the number in on google, it comes up with a man named Jake Stacey. Called today 21.07.23, Indian sounding call centre claimed they could save me 30% of my O2 bill, I am not with O2, and when I asked where they found my number they said it was from a generated call list. My phone has the function of bringing up the business name when a call comes through, so when I proceeded to tell the caller that the actual call seemed to be coming from Gibb & Evans, he became a little confused! I ended the call and called the number back, to which an English gentleman answered with
