Claimed to be Virgin Media Security called re malicious downloads. Call sounded long distance and operative had strong accent.

Bad line, I made out they were a "Trading company" and when I tried to stop then with their script and ask how I got their number, they launched into how I left it on their database some time ago. Agent kept speaking over me and wouldn t even stop talking when I said "no stop shut up". I hung up.

These people call do not say anything when you answer. for the 15 seconds I wasted saying hello I was charged ?25. They are a scam.

Caller said he was from Quote Protect and that my life insurance policy had not been reviewed for 6 months. He addressed me by a false name I had given to a scammer some time ago. He was able to give my correct address. When asked he told me his company was based in Oldham. He gave me an address in Piccadilly Gardens. There is no such address in Oldham but there is one in Central Manchester. When I said I was on TPS he said it did not apply as I "had ticked the box". When I said that would have been 40 year

Scam call supposedly from Virgin saying services on my number will stop at midnight. Gives hyperlink supposedly to virginukmobile.com. No such site shows under Google search but...
SPAM 01225 685717 - calls started 16/4 and searched 6 times by 10am, obvious spammer with spoof number. Block. Other sites shows 10+ searches from 16/4 and 5+ negative comments selling insulation etc.
