This is a company that say they are a "Microsoft Certified Company", and that you have errors and malware on your computer. They then try to get you to go to www.ammyy.com, so that they can ostensibly "sort out" your problems by connecting to your computer but in reality they are trying to look for financial gain, i.e. passwords, credit card details or bank details.

Automated call hangs up before being answered
Automatic robotic female voice message claiming to be from Amazon. Said my Amazon account would automatically renew today for £39.99. Hmmmmm..... I do not have an Amazon account. "If you need to speak to an operator press 1" so I did. Asian sounding bloke asked my name, address, Amazon account number and date of birth. Probably all he needed to order stuff from an Amazon account ! Called him a scammer and told him to foxtrot oscar. Beware people as I have never heard this one before.

Pretty sure call was from Sky. Was able to verify person was from sky by asking them information about my account and login on to the online mysky portal and verifying it (correct information about how long I'd been a customer, what my package was, when my direct debit went out and how much it was discounted). Was a phone call to try and upsell products.

I ve had a call from this number during the last year on several occasions, who rang off when my answer phone tripped in without actually leaving a message. At first I put it down to a miss-hit finger on a wrong key which can happen to anyone. Foreign callers claiming to be from Accident Helpline. Ask if they can speak to person who had road accident. Last week I asked them to remove my number (registered on TPS), was told no. Spoke to a Manager who advised he would. Just had another call. Guy just hung up when I mentioned about last week.
