Man with an accent, asked for me by name, told me he represented the UK Call Blocking Authority and was letting me know that call barring was to be activated on my phone and this would allow me to . . . at which point I told him my phone already had call barring and hung up. Strange that they should offer the facility to bar the sort of calls that they make!!
