Supposedly from Amazon regarding a purchase which I made and advising that my account has been debited with £399.
They called me on Wednesday and Friday. I phoned back today. He said he is try ing to sell me PPI. I told him not to phone me again or I would not be happy and his exact words were "F*** off you F***ing Pu**y", then he hung up.

Stated they are calling to carry out a survey. Stated they got my number from one of their partner companies . Gave a list that included o2 amongst about 7 others. Basically fishing for info/interest to see if they can pass your details on to other companies - virgin, british gas, sky etc.

Wants to speak with the owner of the business about "finances" but refuses to say who they are with and what they need to discuss with the business owner, but they are a referral from "someone" who said they want to invest. When asked who referred they said it was confidential. I informed them that if they could not tell me any more about the nature of their call, they will not be getting past me to waste my MD s time and I put the phone down on her.

Call from a welsh lady claiming I had been referred , despite not knowing my name and giving a former address. I said I’m not interested in saving on gas as we don’t have it, she then asked for me to confirm my details so she could check, I refused and asked if she was calling me a liar . This company called offering cheaper gas and electric. Played along with them for a bit and he asked who our current supplier is. Told him I was not prepared to give him that information. Could not get the guy off the phone. Told him multiple times I was not interested in anything he had to offer. He would not give up! In the end just left the phone on the counter until he got fed up!

Indian scammers posing as BT tech support. Ask them for your address. If they really were from BT they would know it They will say your computer showed up on their server as being hacked. If that was really the case then why don't they have your address? Ask them for your IP address as the only way your "computer" could show up on a BT server is with an IP address (except BT don't monitor for this sort of thing and wouldn't phone you up about it).
