There is no such number associated with Halifax customer services obviously after my bank details.

Nuisance telemarketer

Someone called up saying they were from BT to supposedly report that our internet was being hacked. They were extremely vague with details and tried to use different technical terms but it made no sense. He didn t call from this number but said we should use it to call him back. He called from 01398 774762 which has also been reported as fraudulent multiple times.

My caller display showed international 01242513505. Had two call in last hour said from BT, advised my router faulty, told me go turn on computer immediately almost barking instructions......got. Rang 11 times yesterday. Called them back several time on Skype today (am working abroad and didn t take any of their calls). It s some agency of The Carphone Warehouse. Each time I press button 2 when it says do that to speak to an operator. Then after about 15 seconds of Chopin s "Minute Waltz" it says "Goodbye" and hangs up on me.
