SCAM received a call from this number this morning. It was a message claiming to be from "your bank", stating that there was a withdrawal of money from my account, asking me to call back to "confirm the transaction". It's another scam, just hang up. DO NOT CALL THEM.
I called back and it went to a D2MS answer machine. D2MS work as callers for many companies including Butterbox so I am unaware if this was a scam call or not.
A 'Maria Wilson' from Appliance Aid Ltd called my elderly mum just now, saying she hadn't paid £149 and that she now owed £400. All a scam, beware!!!
Said it was my local energy provider, then quoted incorrect information.

I tried to find the above number, which wasn't found. If it had been my bank or building society, I would have been able to who called me. I think it's a 100% scam.

If you answer then the line will be detected as 'a voice line' and you'll be called back later by a con-artist. My second call this morning from an 01257 number - different ones - both claiming to be a banking service who have detected suspicious activity on my account. They are both automated messages with the same female voice and both claim withdrawals from my (unspecified) account from the same places (Amazon and overseas) but quote different amounts. 01257 is my local dial code, which I suspect is meant to lend credibility to the call.
