This is a scam Said they were our gas supplier and the account was wrong as we were connected to another property
This number has been calling most days since the last week of October. Unfortunately, I try and avoid answering unknown numbers, so I have no idea who or what is calling.
SCAM - Simon attempted to deliver today etc purporting to be Post Office-GB received as text and suggesting the number should be contacted. Beware, you're data is at risk.

A prerecorded message on my answer phone claiming my landline was about the to be cut off for some security reason. 07529990159 SCAM!!!
SCAM The person calls and reminds you of a meeting you are supposed to join and that he is sending a link for the meeting, which you can access using a code. As you speak, he sends a code which he asks you to read out to him. He seems to be calling members of various WhatsApp groups. He has a West Africa accent
Yet another scam call from someone with my details. I asked how she'd got the details and she said "from a database". I asked which database and she said "her job was only to offer an extension to my washing machine guarantee". As I have no such thing anyway, it was easy to know it was a scam. Unfortunately these despicable people keep going because there are still those not wise to their tricks :-(

Received a call from Amir from Contractor Resource to discuss life insurance. He advised that I had contacted them several years ago about a quote. When questioned about GDPR he advised that he would have my details removed. I have no recollection of ever enquiring about Life Insurance with any company.

Pre-recorded female voice (American accent) purporting to be HMRC but number coming up on iPhone as Newquay area. Couldn't clearly hear what was said but usual message engineered to put people under pressure while offering a "Press number 1" type option to be put through to scammers most likely. Just waited and it cut-off.

Searched Google and found they are being looked into by the FCA as they are unlicensed and are trying to sell services or products with out being registered. SCAM Fraud Caller said they were from "banking credit control" and wanted my name and date of birth because he had seen fraudulent activity on my card. When I said I had 4 cards he again asked for my name and DOB so I made something up and he said he could definitely see £300 going to Amazon and £1100 as an International Money Transfer to China! I again asked him which of the 4 cards he was talking about and when he said VISA I told him I didn't have a VISA card and he put the phone down.
Called with recorder message saying possible fraudulent transactions- no mention of what bank or card . Quotes £300 on Amazon and £1000 international bank transfer- wanted me to press a number to authorise or speak to someone- I hung up
