No idea why they called me. I wouldn t offer my details to a random caller asking for them so they wouldn t say why they are calling. My advice is to challenge their claim who they are. Websites, letters and phone calls prove nothing. They ll soon go away if they re not getting anywhere.

Called no message left. When I returned the call a real person answered alleging they were from HMRC. The call had very noisy background which sounded like a call centre. I immediately hung up the call.

Let them ramble on for a bit; apparently I could be owed thousands in PPI claims, which they would chase for me for only 30% of it. For reassurance they gave me a different callback number to the one that had rung on my mobile, then asked if I would speak to my bank and request PPI information on their behalf while they kept me on hold. Its these people that try to get all your money. Be careful and don t listen to them. I agree with all the comments. They say random things just to defraud you and others.
Since updating to a new contractsim card with 3 this week this number keeps ringing me but silent on the one time I tried to answer the call so have no idea what the purpose is Am also reporting this to 3 to alert them

Scammers. They leave an automated message claiming to be from HMRC and claiming there is a tax fraud case under your name. They ask you to press 1 to continue. Don't be tempted! Just hang up.
Over the last few weeks this company has tried to phone me, but because I do not know the number I have not picked up. Left no message.
The caller said your income tax has not been paid, and asked for payment. I know mine has been paid. t#The phone was put down by me.

HMRC scam do not return these calls
Just had a call for this number - an automated message saying it was from HMRC and my name was linked to fraud. I had to press 1 to be connected to an advisor. Failure to do so would mean I would be arrested.....I'll take that risk.
