I am marking this as a potential scam. Called from 'tax advisory group', saying I was owed money from HMRC. But they couldn't tell me how much or my home address. I asked them to email me, and they said they couldn't without taking details. Sounds like they are phishing for info. Why would they call on a mobile...

Phoned to say money had been taken from my account to pay amazon and sent abroad, kept asking for my account number, told him i would phone the fraud dept at my bank and give them his number and they can talk to each other. He then rang off, now blocked this number.

Automated call this call was a recorded message saying about bank security and that transactions have taken place if its not the case to press either 1 or 2. I've had so many of these and know it's a scam. My elderly brother went all the way through to speak to someone and realised at the last minute it was a scam so put the phone down but it worried him so much he rang his bank to make sure everything was alright. SCAM posed as my daughter on WhatsApp and asked me to pay a bill. Very plausible but bank fraud team picked up on it thankfully

Fraud. Got a call I didn't answer. They left a voice mail it wasn't a person it sounded like a generic message. It said there was something wrong with my financial account and then said I'll be arrested ( they spelt out the word arrested) I have 2 phones the one they rang is the one I use for fam/ friends it's not the one attached to any of my bank account/ online shopping. There is absolutely no reason any business should have that number.
