First of all they are phoning from a number that shows up as 01326, this is local to my area but there is no way on earth they are from here. It looks like a trick to get people to answer a local call. They claimed to be the "Pension department" when i pushed them on this they eventually gave a real company name, but i didn't understand the person on the phone properly but it was "???? financial services ". Same story as many others. "You'll be delighted to know you've won a free holiday" - but you haven't (of course). If you stay on the line you'll get directed to someone else who will eventually (after sugar coating this) make you understand you have to attend a meeting (somewhere in London). I have never been, and suspected from this point onwards that this was a timeshare scam. I gave up. The "free" bit was getting up to £1000 off a holiday - but that gets massively discounted if
