15:29 19/7/16. Did not appear to know my name, address or location, as did not refer to any - so just cold call to landline. Claimed to be from BT security and that there was a problem with my router. I asked who are BT? (jut to wind him up) - the answer he gave was the only truth in his call. He wanted me to check and confirm some details on my router. I told him I did not believe what he said, I was not going to give him any information and that I was going to hang up - which I did.
Received a text from this number stating DPD UK: Your package has a £2.99 unpaid shipping fee. To pay this NOW please visit: https://dpd.parcel-referral.com (and then a long reference number). This is a scam, this is not a DPD URL

Didn't prompt call, when answering I didn't say anything they didn't either, they hung up. Call lasted two secs. BLOCKED. Could be dangerous, but definitely annoying. Get alot of such calls from London area, just answer to possibly waste their money even if possibly not.

SCAM Fraud Banking Firstly, a test message was received on a mobile saying it was the Fraud department of a Credit Card company and they would be calling about “recent activity from your card. Expect a call from our Fraud team. Please wait for our call”. That was followed 2mins later by a phone call to the same mobile number saying it was from 02071934897 (London). Not a number associated with a Credit Card company! The male caller asked for the additional card holder by name but hadn’t called that person

Yet another annoying call regarding insurance - those companies call about 3 times daily and never give up - if I am not interested in discussing insurance after the first call, I'm going to be very angrily uninterested after the 50,0000th call!!!! SCAM Called on my mobile @ 20.00hrs. A Northampton dial code. Caller when questioned was from "the Philipines" looking to see if I qualify for "home insulation" funding. When asked how my phone number was accessed the caller hung up. Had this not been a recognised dial code I would not have answered the call. number now blocked. Also appears on missed calls list from yesterday @ 12.58hrs.

They just phoned my elderly father-in-law on his land line and luckily my husband had just arrived at the house when they phoned.
