Probably calling in the name of BT, for sure some call centre - few similar numbers called me last week. No idea who is behind, I don't answer unknown numbers and they left no message. I was trying to dig some info on the internet, don't want to call them

Woman with a strong Indian accent claimed to be from BT and was calling about my internet connection.Obviously a lie, so I hung up.

This number called me I have NEVER given my phone number to anyone subscribing to this number. If they were really wanting to contact me with a genuine reason then they would have left a message but they did not which as far as I am concerned speaks volumns and PROVES they are rubbish....

Like many other people I have been charged £30.99 which I definitely did not make. On checking this with a2b they can do nothing as they get paid by the provider, in my case, BT. I have made 4 different chat lines to BT but with no effect. They gave me a discount of £5. I was insulted and said I want a refund - the Indian base have told me to email BT at [email protected] I doubt if I will get anywhere and feel this scam should now be exposed to the media. I hope this might help others in this position
