My wife answered. Foreign male called asking to speak to XXX. No security questions asked. Claimed he was from Microsoft. When told we were on TPS, he became argumentative. He clearly hadn't heard of TPS. When asked to remove our details from their database he became aggressive and said he would disconnect our phone at our address. He knew our address because he read it out! He then put the phone down when I said in the background we were connecting to the police.

Ring at all hours, always silence on the other end of the phone or hang up after a few rings. Its a premium number so I guess they are looking for people to call them back so that they can make money. Extremely persistent and annoying.
Fraud - Recorded message stating there was a tax fraud in my name and I needed to press 1 to be connected to HMRC. If I did not press 1 it threatened that a warrant would be issued and I would be arrested. I did not press 1 as felt this was not an appropriate way for HMRC to contact people in relation to this type of matter.
Next Step. They have called countless times with these two numbers. Today I choose to answer. A lot of the information they have got about me is wrong, I didn t correct them. I am to expect some paperwork in the next few days which I will return to sender at their cost. Also, I have blocked the numbers.

Advert on Face Book so I thought it was a good idea to plan for the future to protect my family. However, after I had filled it in, this number called and were so unprofessional I didn t think they were genuine. Tried to block the number on my phone but my handset won t let me. I explained to her not to ring me if she dosnt know who shes talking to, and she even had the gaul to try to make me answer security questions first,haha. I politely told her not to ring me again and told her to P-Off but i did explain what the initial P stood for. She did then say she would remove my number from her list. hopefully
