If this is as others say ..Everest. that company went bust in 2019 and is now called everest 2020. They still owe or Chapel more than 4k deposit back. I have had this number blocked since last year because it kept ringing and there was nothing there . It just came up again as a blocked call today.. and yesterday. Part of a travel scam company, Travel Performance or Travel Junction. They scam sell you flights under duress. Block and report.
People claiming to be from EDF and seemed to know a lot about me which made me think it was genuine. Luckily I got suspicious when they started throwing deals at me and I hung up.
Fraud Offers a discount for being a 'loyal' customer... They send you a link from three website to reset your memorable info then say it will take 24 hours to complete but if you give them your password now they can verify it now. Never give anyone your password BEWARE!!!!!!!
They said they were from HMRC. That I was due a refund due to my tax on a ppi claim. I have never claimed on a ppi form. I asked them to put the information in the post, they declined saying they don’t use the post. I then said we’ll send me an email and if you are HMRC you will have my email address. They then said if I changed my mind to phone them. Very strange
