This number belongs to Amnesty International. They want to things: #1 inform you about their current focus or rather issues they are currently focussing on and #2 ask you for a donation. I have been making donations to AI in the past, so I guess that explains how they got my number.

Picked up but no response on the other end so I hung up.

Called me now at work and when I answered they hung up, this area code phones me a lot and as it is my home code I answer.

Keeps phoning & hangs up when answer machine answers. Never leaves a message. Probably cold caller or scammer.

Got text its a ppi scam about my accident claim i dont even have usual nuisance call you can text stop but i just block them

These people called concerning PPI. I was foolish enough to reply STOP and it charged my 50 pence. Clearly, this is a scam and these people must be stopped before they de-fraud more users.

Amex Customer Services checking a transaction for over £1k was valid. It was, but good to know they check!

Of course it's a scam. Internet providers do not phone you (unless you have asked them to do so).

Someone called to ask about me selling my house. Said at first he was from sharman quinney, then later in the conversation he said he was from William h brown. This number doesn t seem to be either of them
