DANGER ! Definitely Spam. Lady with Indian accent as O2 customer service telling me they had received multiple complaints about signal problem. I said I was satisfied with signal coverage. She then tried to give me a number to call back. I challenged her and told her I thought she not not legit. She started arguing. I said a real customer agent would not argue like that. Put down the phone.

I got a text from this number pretending to have a verification number for Microsoft. I refreshed the website and got Microsoft to send me another a verification number. When Microsoft text you, it will say MICROSOFT. If a mobile number comes up, DO NOT USE THAT CODE.
Caller said they were from State Pension and asked too many questions. We just hung up. Please do the same for your financial security.

Went through all the comments, I found some painful, while some were funny. My conclusion is most people can still get scammed just because they can’t read in- between the lines. I’ve be victimized. Now I have a resident expert and a professional hacker who helped me recover my funds and so far, it had been worth it. Hackers easily know a bitcoin scam. SCAM - claim to be from BT Openreach and advise my internet searching has gone from private to public. They had my home address details (but I didn’t confirm anything). My system has not been compromised, as I have all my security settings nailed down and up to date. Don’t divulge or confirm anything with them, even when they say they are putting a block on your IP, it’s nonsense.
