Whoever they ask for tell them to remove your number and do not confirm any information with whatsoever; it will be sold to others even if you answer no to questions like "have you had an endowment policy" (see another post elsewhere online. They will call from a spoofed London number but seem to have call centres all over the place. Wow, had a call from this number today. I dont usually answer these numbers but I was bored so I thought I'd have a bit of fun and boy was it a shock. What I got was an incoherent, female voice screaming down the phone. The line was not good so I wasn't sure if she was speaking English or not but I never got one word of what was said. After about 20 seconds she hung up. I stood there baffled scratching my head for a short while before heading here to check it out. I'm still baffled!
