This is the UK version of a scam running amok in the US. The supposed company, microsoftechs.com, contacts people and claims there is an issue with their computer. The claim to be partnered with Microsoft and gain confidence with all the classic scam talk. Generally when there s a long pause before they answer, it s safe to say it s a call centre that I m going to have zero interest in talking to. Whistle loudly down the phone. They don t tend to call back again. ;)
