SCAM-Was at work. Don’t know anyone in Rotherham so ended call and blocked immediately. & from look of feedback glad I did. I am getting scam e mail attempts daily. Trying to tempt me under differing guises either offering loyalty points or entering me in competitions . Most say from Curry’s but now they are piggy backing e mail contacts of mine masquerading as them and trying to get me to click on links of photos they sent. They get around the block facility. Someone claiming to be from O2 but I don t believe him because he acted like a weirdo -asking me if I was over 18, and when I said I don t have the time to talk to you, he said - so you re under 18 then, and hung up on me. Perhaps they are scouting for 18 year olds? (Weird) Perhaps they are mad. Perhaps they are scammers. But they are definitely not polite or professional so I doubt O2 would have such representatives. Number blocked.

Been called by 0113 419 9990 numerous times over the past 3 days. I answered the call today to be told it s about my pension - and they could see its frozen. The lady was called Becky (thats if they use their real names) who wanted details of my pension, which I wouldnt give, she tried to convince me there was nothing wrong but I said how did know who she was, I said I would leave it and deal with it myself - she hung up!! So much for trying to convince me she was genuine. These scams are really getting out

Fraud. A recorded voice told me that my visa card was being used to purchase something in the region of £600. I was supposed to press '1' but the voice didn't say what for!! I tried calling the number but it doesn't exist. Beware!

SCAM Indian chap called ‘Steve’, said he was from Virgin media and wanted to fix the fault on my internet connection. Told him I didn’t have a fault as I was connected and working on it whilst he was speaking. He put the phone down. This is the 4th call I’ve had today from this 02084 number. Very annoying as I’m with Virgin and my landline is supposed to be ex directory; I can’t even block it ????. Yet another reason for leaving them!
