If this really is HSBC s fraud dept they are staggeringly incompetent and l am by no means convinced that it is. Question of whether there has been fraud on my account remains unsolved - l was unable to give the exact year that l opened my account - approx 40 years ago - and so failed my telephone security check . May be genuine, but they asked me to repeat the same information re my account so many times that l was suspicious, and would urge caution

Had a missed call (Chose not to answer) from this number this morning. I don t know anyone in Birmingham so thinking it might be a cold call.

did my usual for a number I don t know, answered phone, but kept quiet, waited for the other end to say something. as usual, a couple of seconds and the machine at the other end hung up.

I have had this call 3 times in 2 days and states it is from HM Customs and Revenue. It tells me not to ignore the call and to call back and then get in touch with my solicitors...

called no message left. returned call, no dial tone, no sound when connected had trouble disconnecting, had to switch off phone.

Called me today.saying i was approved for a loan.he was wanting my bank details.(stupid man).i told him if my application was approved he would have my details.he wanted a admin feee to forward the loan.i told him to shove it where the sun dont shine.he hung up.

Computer (sounded very realistic) saying it had heard I was involved in an accident. Hung up when I said I was not.

I ve been advised ( not by them) they are trying to recoup parking ticket fines. They re called Akinika.

an Asian man called me today earlier on this phone number offering me a loan for my tuition fees as i am paying my own fees. he called himself David if i remember right. He told me as hes offering an unsecured loan from SkyQuid all i have to do is to pay £100 to an account as a deposit and he will straight away transfer the amount. Claims to be from BT informing you that your internet has been compromised. Scam call, I have reported this number to BT.

Contacted saying that I had been involved in a car accident. This is not the case another spam number

Missed call from someone with an 01582 number. Not on my contact list so no return call made. I expect it's a scam caller thinking I am stupid.
