SCAMMERS, asked if they are speaking to (my full name), I said yes and they said they have received a notification to investigate my account. I asked what the reason was for that and they said "well you have outstanding debt that you pay each month, is that right?" I said no, I don't have any debt and they hang up. I've never had a loan, not even an overdraft. So yeah, not a legit number/business.
SCAM - claimed that she was calling to tell me that I was potentially due a refund due to my "past finances". Definitely a scam.

Weird guy with a strong accent calling me about leaving a window open
Claimed to be from Virgin, calling about internet. Got increasingly frustrated with me when I said I didn’t recognise the number and would call Virgin myself. Didn’t believe the guy with Indian accent and I hung up when he wouldn’t go away. Scary as it sounded like a big call centre in the background and it would be easy to get sucked in. Hope everyone hangs up and karma catches up with what I believe are scammers.

I just got a call claiming (falsely) to be from this number, claiming (again falsely) that it was BT Openreach (or something). Scam trying to say they from Amazon and your account either needs to be cancelled or they will let it run for another £79.99 Then they ask you to open App Store on your phone PLEASE DONT they can get into your phone if you do and get access to your information IE bank details etc.
This number rang out on my phone three times before hanging up on 22/06/2022 .A similar number +94938528005 rang on my wife,s phone on the evening before and also hung up after three rings. It seems a bit suspicious to me.

I received a email claiming to be virgin media 6/10/22 claiming to be BPO a debt collection agency for collection of outstanding balance I'm a bit dubious about this
SCAM Southern english scammers currently calling themselves "fixed income team" also reached by calling 08003213781 (provided again to these crooks by Vodafone!). One of them has been pretending to be Evan Hanna of Merrill Lynch selling fake Diageo bonds.
