I get at least one call every day, despite being with TPS. The calls are silent. I am also ex-directory. Please, anyone getting calls from this number, make a complaint to Ofcom. With enough complaints they will investigate and can levy a lovely big fine

Received a call from a female. Stated Pension Review Service. Told me my name and address and DOB. Then passed me to a "Manager" and stated that a signing agent would come to my address. I agreed a time for them to attend so I could check them out. Obviously they didnt arrive. I checked the Pension Review Service Website which unsurprisingly had this number listed for a company posing as themselves. Calls to our (call screened, not on BT) number from 0800 044 5265. No message left, multiple attempts on multiple days. Calling that 0800 number says they are Stellar a partner of BT, and to call BT on 0800 028 2272. Don t bother if you aren t on BT. They ll tell you "you aren t on BT, we have no record of you!". Fraud Extremely suspicious recorded message claiming to be from HMRC. Tells you to press 1 immediately or a warrant will be issued in your name. But naturally it doesn't know your name because it's a blatant scam.

Lady with strong Indian Accent from Virgin Media technical said that hackers had got into my router (a hidden problem that affected other users too, not just me), and wanted to check it for me. I confirmed independently by dialling 150 and entereling my password. I was told that no technician had called my phone today, so it was either a phishing call or some attempt to gain control of my online device(s).
