It was a recorded message saying that money had been taken out of a bank account and that I should press 1 to speak to an advisor. The name of the bank was not given.
Claiming to be EE, and asked how much I pay a month as they are running 30% off promotion. As soon as I said I don't have an EE account, they hung up.

Very pushy guy would not listen at all, would not let me speak trying to sell phones and simply, wanted to know what phone I had. Never gave a company name, never gave me a chance to speak so vut him off. No clue if it was spam, scam etc but definitely worth avoiding!

This was a call from refund on a BitCoin account I had 5 years ago, that I never traded with and closed down within weeks of opening. The chap couldn't give me any background or was willing to listen to what I had to say. I made it evident that I wasn't comfortable about going on my computer to access an account and he got rather aggressive in his tone. I said I wasn't happy with his tone and he turned it on me. In the end he was very rude and put the phone down on me.

However it is a recorded English voice about payments I have tried to make to Amazon and an International Money transfer.it is clearly a highly dangerous scam and similar to a call I had the other day from a different number with an American style voice. Fraud Phone company is investigating this number based in Yorkshire as they found it was linked to my pay monthly account. So knew my personal details and set up a new line! I only found out about it due to a different investigation regarding “crossed lines” or someone basically listening in on my calls!
