I got a call from an unknown number, but the person on the other end did not identify themselves. I don't know who this number belongs to.
I keep receiving messages in quick succession on my landline answer machine (8 this morning so far). They are clear until the company name is stated, when it becomes muffled. Having looked at the reviews, the calls seem to come from Talk Talk (can hear it is a busy call centre in the background), but I am with BT and have never had any dealings with Talk Talk!

Keep phoning mobile but I don't answer. If it was anyone important, they'd known to use my landline, as I only have a mobile phone for emergencies, with only family and friends who have this number.
Received a call from this number claiming to be Microsoft saying that they've detected a problem with my computer and asked if I can switch on my computer. bit of a strange one, sounded like one of those scamming call centres judging by the noise in the background, this call came a few days after my google account was accessed by someone and google locked it down, seemed legit at the time but on second thoughts was a strange one, didn't really ask for any personal info so maybe I'm wrong but strange all the same, also they never called be back like they were asked to, so I will put it on here anyway since it may be linked to the hackers maybe might help someon
This was a call about life insurance, and could save £1000 of the policy. They couldn't tell me who my policy was with, or the policy number and had the incorrect post code, so I played along with them, requesting that they give me those details first. They then changed their story and said it was a survey and asked again who my policy was with, and so it went on and on and they gave up. Number blocked from future calls, but that won't work as they have dozens of numbers. Always a woman of foreign descent.

They put me through to a technician and they started getting a bit angry with me as I could not understand what they were saying because of their accent.
