I called them they said they will need to take me through the process of cancellation which involved me being on the computer to fill in the cancellation form. However when I started the process I immediately suspected it was scam and called them out for being scammer. I had a phone call from this number which gave an automated message saying it was my bank and that there was suspicious activity (someone had tried to spend £300 on amazon and £1600 elsewhere). It said to press 1 to confirm something. I believe it was a scam.

Calls claiming to be mobile provider and asking to correct error on account But when calling them back the call goes silent

Over the last two weeks there have been a number of High Wycombe calls, which are trying to con you about Amazon prime, silence, or a annoying hiss. This particular call is an annoying hiss. I have collected about 16 numbers in this time period of the same ilk.

Asian voice called me claiming to be from EE, offering 40% off charges. I could see it was an Inverness number so said I didn't believe he was from EE, at which point he said I could fcuk myself! Number now blocked.

This is fraud. A message on my answer machine said they were from my bank and two large transactions were coming off my account. A quick check of my banking app proved this to be nonsense.
