They just phoned my elderly father-in-law on his land line and luckily my husband had just arrived at the house when they phoned. They told him that they were the National Crime Agency and that there had been fraud on his bank account. The person knew my name and address BUT the wrong postcode - it was way off! As I said it was the wrong postcode they asked me for mine which I refused to give and told them as they had the wrong information I was not the person they needed.

Phoned back to found out it was someone trying to snoop on our phone line..the usual "we will call back". Didn't even have a local accent, so probably not even i...

I ve been called daily by this number but I have a call blocker on my android phone called "Truecaller" (I am not a salesman) which filtered it straight away. It does have apps but is very effective for nuisance callers. Hope this helps.

First they called tried to confirm that the were speaking to the person they were calling for. Annoyingly they would read back my address. Then they would ask if they could do a short survey. another time they have an Indian accent and sometimes they have an English accent. Sometimes Indian man. The English accent one wanted to know if there was central heating in the house. she went straight into the question despite me telling her she had the wrong name and number. Stated that he wanted to ask me three simple questions. Asked me to confirm whether I was living at my address but when I said I didn t have time, Mike as he called himself, became angry and said you ve just wasted my time and put the phone down on me... Nice, I thought! Don t answer - complete waste of time.

I keep getting automated calls asking for a person who does not live at my address. The number given to call is 08448150653 the name referred to is Hayley Brown with reference number 95867336. I believe this is a special rate number and I will not be calling it.
