" I clicked the link anyway and the browser blocked it saying it was unsafe. Are the Russians trying to scam us now?

Asian male rang claiming to be from Sky to renew my equipment warranty for the discounted price of £99!! Asked me if I still had card ending in 5619, which I dont and never have, told him so and he hung up. Beware this is more than likely a scam call!

Number came with an email looking as if I had bought a TV on eBay which had a delivery address in a distant town. Checked eBay account and cannot find any evidence of purchases. Think it must be a scam. Person who answered the phone seemed very genuine!

SCAM saying I will be charged £714 in next 24hrs from amazon on my iPhone.......never owned an iPhone. Hung up a moment t later but it did say, 'Unless you call and cancel...."

I asked how they have my number and she said from a shared database of all UK providers, although this would seemingly breach GDPR for sharing customer's contact details and wouldn't make sense for the businesses to risk losing customers this way. Called today. Recorded re two huge Visa card transactions. Realised it was a scam so pressed 1 to mess with them. Amateur scammer in the middle of a meal? Argued with her for a while until she hung up after becoming very irate.

Informed by the cold caller on answering his questions that I was lying and why didn’t I just “F*** Off”. Charming!!!

Scam calls usually related to Crypto. They generate new fake spoofed numbers (including this one), and call from UK, China, and other random countries. Previous owner of my phone number must have signed up on their website for information, but they have been calling me for over a year despite me saying its not the right person.
