I never answer the landline (to avoid giving scammers/spammers the knowledge that my landline is a valid number). I researched the number but could not find a legitimate index entry, so I conclude it is a scam and not to be trusted at all. Potentially dangerous. This was a very frightning scam call, saying that amounts of something like £300 and £1100 had been debited to my card - they didn't say which - and to ring a certain number etc etc Dangerous and number now blocked.

Calls repeatedly. Automated service on other end for something that sounds like "Sailor and Battery Scheme" (probably solar but sound quality is awful). Definitely a scam.

My mother has been contacted many times on this and other phone numbers. The message, from the caller is always the same, she tells my mother, first in English and then in Chinese that she has a package waiting for her, to collect from the Chinese embassy. This is clearly a scam call.

This number called with a recorded message saying my card had been used and a transfer had been made from my account. I did not follow instructions to press 1 or 2.

I think this is a scam. Message said I had made an unusual transaction on card, £300 Amazon and £1000 international money transfer. Call did not identify a specific card, so I am assuming this to be a scam. Interesting that it is a Bristol number identifiable to a location.

This was a call about life insurance, and could save £1000 of the policy. They couldn't tell me who my policy was with, or the policy number and had the incorrect post code, so I played along with them, requesting that they give me those details first. They then changed their story and said it was a survey and asked again who my policy was with, and so it went on and on and they gave up. Number blocked from future calls, but that won't work as they have dozens of numbers. Always a woman of foreign descent.
