I've just kept one of their team talking for 12 minutes, saving others from being called by this scam! They claim to be "Road Traffic Management" and that they can get you additional compensation for a RTA you've had. They also claim to have got your details from the MIB (Motor Insurance Database), but when pushed they claim that all they were given was your phone number and the fact that your vehicle had been in an accident in the last five years that wasn't your fault. Repeated phone calls, (within working hours). This business sells magazine deals/subscriptions - but if you buy once they don't stop phoning (unless you firmly say/threaten them a few times that you'll report them). They're not the worst by any means.

An Asian gentleman called apparently on behalf of a company called Housing ???. (Couldn't understand the second part of the company name). Claimed that they helped tenants with repairs like mould etc. He knew my name, but didn't seem to know much else, seeing as I am not currently a tenant anywhere

SPAM claimed to be from th "UK solar scheme". When I asked what solar scheme they rang off
01202627797 called today. It was automated and said they were from Visa fraud team. They were holding a payment of £800 (and something) pounds which was a suspicious payment on a gambling site in America. I was told to press 1 if this wasn't me and to be connected to the fraud team. Obviously I just hung up, searched the number which didn't come up with anything, I checked my bank accounts and rang the bank's fraud number. As I thought, it was a scam.

The organisation using this number are expert scammers. They already had my o2 mobile phone number, contract account number and asked me to confirm my address before offering a discount on my tariff. I was aware it was a scam and played dumb for a while until they sent me the text which would have given them full access to my account had I replied to it. After wasting their time for 10 minutes, I told them I knew they were scammers and they became very abusive, then misscalled my number around 20 times
