Mobile phone spam / scam / fraud. Scammers pretend to call from Currys Mobile department. They will sign you up on a completely different deal than agreed initially with the most expensive phone available. They use several phone numbers some of them on Whatsapp. Also will e-mail an order confirmation from an address that seems genuine. It's not. After receiving the parcel they will try to convince you to send the phone back to some shady residential address. Avoid!

Banking Scam. An automated message telling you that 2 transactions have been taken from your account, 1x £300 & 1x £1000. Then asks you to press 2 on your phone pad to be connected to an advisor. I phoned this number back but it said that someone is on the phone and asked you to leave a message. This is a SCAM phone number.

020 8144 3803 Windows computer virus scam. They (whoever 'they' are) have been using the same script for years. In fact, this number goes back a while. Fraud - I was called off one number trying to get a security code that would reset my O2 account. when I refused to give the one time code to the lady she got aggressive. I said I would check with O2 customer service and if everything was ok would take up the offer. I was given this number as O2 customer services - IT IS NOT. I reported to O2 (202) and they confirmed that this was Fraud, and if I gave them the code they would have had access to my O2 account.

SCAM caller - called saying he's from my bank, quoted some card details (correct, must be on a stolen database) to say that Apple Pay / Contactless are down for 24-48 hours while they do upgrades. I didn't give him any info but somehow he managed to set up an Apple Pay with my card and stole £2,600 from our company account, on payday, 4 days before Christmas.
