I was phoned from someone supposedly from Amazon about £400 suddenly being taken from my account. He said he d sent me n email about it and wanted me to check my emails and...

Really shady caller office. Offering a job just to get personal details. Deal with caution. If asked to send and ID . blurr out the personal info (not more than they already have) . A quick track back showed multiple old computer network in the same building with VOIP setup in INDIA. A relay point in UK was found aswell (possibly a rented server) . I did enroll a local police force on the adress.

I have a call from this number sometimes twice a day and do not recognise the number!!

Cold call asking if I'd had an accident in the last 3 years. Didn't even have the correct name for me and hung up when I asked to be removed from their database.

This number has tried numerous times to call my phone and i have answered it twice. The first time it was an indian sounding fella called "james" in a very noisy call centre wanting to speak to my wife and it was a welcome call as she had signed up to some website. I asked who was calling and he couldn t tell me because of data protection and i said data protection has got nothing to do with him telling me who the company was that was calling. He said that it did so i told him i thought he was full of s**t

Tech help line for a company called Adata. Plenty of info if you Google the number.

robot voice claiming to be from Amazon. Request to press 1 to proceed. Let the call hold until it dropped the call 4 minutes later. ASSUME pressing 1 then gives a large bill.

3 calls within 2 hours. No answer from anyone at other end so have blocked any further calls as I can't be bothered with automated calls.

This guy has contacted me on several occasions. Whenever I advertise something locally, he texts saying,"Hi how are you?x" and tries to make out he s been given your number by mistake. He pesters to see you, but apparently he is targeting local women selling things with the intention of meeting them for sex. He gets really abusive and nasty when you refuse. Go the a web sight called, Who Calls Me, and put in his number. It will scare the hell out of you.

MCE insurance company. Reputable company but the call disconnects as soon as you answer.

They were from bt saying we had technical problem with computer told them we didn't have a computer phone went dead.

This is where Harry lives. He makes various prank calls to me on my work phone. He calls me a g*ylord then hangs up, and when I try ringing him back he does not answer.

The companies don’t "get" your number, they just block-dial numbers until they get a ring tone so TPS and ex-directory numbers do not offer any protection.

Had a missed call from this number, 01224573601, and they left a message. Seemed to be requesting help with a failed transaction, asking for further help with his payment. Unsure if it was genuine or spam.
