Call from amazon about my prime account that they say I have just renewed. Thats news to me.
SCAM - pretends to be from Microsoft saying computer has downloaded malicious software. Gets recipient to go to PC. Identifies PC/Mac by asking to describe keyboard. For mac uses Spotlight to launch console - didn’t run with it any further. Caller does know the name accociated with the phone number. Caller has strong asian accent with a regular uk name.

Pay your gas bill is shouted at you. Very rude. Makes you want to pay them less.
SCAM / SPAM Pretending to be HM Revenue to get details and money saying taxes haven't been paid. Lies. I said I wasnt comfortable giving any details "for verification" as they had contacted me. When I said they should get in touch by sending me a letter, the person cut the phone. Trying to prey on innocent people who might fall for this.
SCAM - asked to press 1 to connect to a HMRC officier and if I didn't I would be arrested shortly!!!! lol
