SCAM called with an automated message saying that it's from the tax office and I owe tax and to prevent going to jail that I needed to press 1 to answer them. I haven't worked in over 20years so I don't pay tax so not even the smallest possibility that I would owe any. Also the tax office would never contact you by phone. Just and scam to steal money. Constantly ringing again and again. i ignored the calls and they rang 8 time in 15 minutes time period. It is incredibly annoying. I answered the last call and the man was quite aggressive and refused to remove my name from his calling list and blamed me for answering my own phone. He said if i did not answer he woudl not be able to try to sell me things!

Got a call from 01246 255920 it was the same company UK Finance who keep ringing me on different numbers. They said i am due 10 year bank charges but could not tell me which bank. I just keep them on the line saying i need to write the number down then can't find my glasses etc. It must be 6 times they have called asking me to ring 0913 1240 871 which could cost me around £25 a call as it is a premium number. Of course once i do ring 0913 they can then release my cheque. I must have wasted at least an hour

Then proceeded to ask if I was a house owner or rented when I asked how would it save me money by answering her questions she hung up.

Ring at all hours, always silence on the other end of the phone or hang up after a few rings. Its a premium number so I guess they are looking for people to call them back so that they can make money. Extremely persistent and annoying.
