SCAM - Recorded message claiming to have noted fraudulent activity associated with my National Insurance number. Instructed to press 1 to speak with an officer. Very worrying language and potential for people to get scammed.

I had two garbled messages from this number claiming to be from Hotpoint about my tumble dryer safety repair. I don t have a Hotpoint dryer. I called Hotpoint ( different number) and they said I am not on their database, so they don t know who was calling. My advice would be to call Hotpoint/Indesit direct!

From looking the number up and finding all these comments saying Vanquis - i called Vanquis up asking why a debt collecting agency is harrassing me when I paid off any money oweing last year and wrote a letter of cancellation LAST YEAR! This people are south Asian (their tone is Indian like),They told they are are from Carphone warehouse. when i asked for email and they send me an email from : <[email protected]> which clearly states it is scam. Because if you see the domain name of the email, it is clear that its not carphonewarehouse.
