Claimed to be from Coventry, offering to help with a serious problem on my computer. I asked him what sort of computer he thought I had. He cleverly said he didn t know and would not ever access my computer because that would be illegal. I pretended to play along for a bit, until he got annoyed with my frivolous answers to questions and hung up. Definitely a fraudster.

Thick Indian accent, didn t ask any security questions and also failed to tell me the name of the company twice - he got confused both times so god knows where he was meant to be calling from. Called my landline, sounded like an Indian accent. Said he was calling about my computer. This is the 5th call I ve had from different numbers all wanting me to give them remote access to my computer. Idiots!!
I believe this number has been used for a scam; notably to an elderly person regarding their bank details.

I ve had loads of calls from this number over the last few days. I answered once and they said they re from O2 and want to offer me deals. I told them I wasn t interested and hung up, they still keep calling.

says credit investigation company when I picked up the call. I questioned their authenticity and was talked over when trying to ask questions so no listening skills there. Alarm bells are ringing ... what an amateur setup. Call leads to a lesser used number from a geographical location (Bolton). Calls blocked. NB: Don't be the 'one' who accepts this, ask questions, no sales & marketing company (legit or not) will make calls like this, question EVERYTHING you have been WARNED! don't do it be vigilant.
