I have not answered to these people. Not once. Yet, they call at least weekly. I ve got a years line rental with BT paid for up-front, which allows me to block 99% of unwanted calls (with a BT blocker phone purchased separately, in case anyone was wondering). First time I ve had this call and with a specific telephone number. She did give a company name but I couldn t get it. wouldn t say what it concerned just kept insisting on information regarding my number and my address. Said nothing was being sold but if it was just a survey the attitude was terrible!

Seems like a new scam number just called me offering me a discount on my existing T-Mobile contract and when I said I knew they were talking rubbish and must be a scam as I don't have T-Mobile. Guess what they put the phone down, but not before asking me to confirm my details which of course I didn't do.
