SCAM - Claimed to be calling from The Insulation Advisory Board in Reading - it doesn't exist. Stated that insulation installed under previous 'Green Scheme' needed checking for damp every 4 years and they would arrange to do it for Free!! Mildly irritating and worrying for the unworldly. SCAM. Purported to be from Carphone warehouse - claimed to be 'work with all major networks' to offer phone upgrade at up to 40% off. Ha. Couldn't tell me which network I was with, so probably trying to scam me.
I answered and there is a delay for 2 seconds before the automated message starts telling you to urgently press option 5 to claim your PPI. I hung up, there was no way I was pressing option 5 and probably getting charge ?1,000 a minute!!
