A voice from this number told me that my national insurance nunber had been cancelled and that i had been involved in illegal activity - i havent! Therefore when it also told me i was going to be arrested unless i pressed number 1 i knew it was a scam!

When I asked him for the identity of the PC and its serial number so I could identify which of the 200 PCs at my location was the issue he blathered a bit and then when I asked him which of the Police Constables he wished to speak to he hung up. Been called by 0113 419 9990 numerous times over the past 3 days. I answered the call today to be told it s about my pension - and they could see its frozen. The lady was called Becky (thats if they use their real names) who wanted details of my pension, which I wouldnt give, she tried to convince me there was nothing wrong but I said how did know who she was, I said I would leave it and deal with it myself - she hung up!! So much for trying to convince me she was genuine. These scams are really getting out

Scam. Said they were from sky and I may have offers, tried to get me to have fibre broadband. I stupidly gave my address, email etc. Just contacted sky & it appears that it’s not one of their numbers. There’s a recording if you ring the number back that does say it’s a recording on behalf of sky. Just be careful not to give any details.

Scam Email and number. blocked.
Caller asked for me by name, when I said it was who they were asking for they hung up.
