It was an automated msg saying I had 2 payments coming out of my bank (but it didn't say which bank) and asked me to press a number to confirm the transaction or a different number to stop the transactions I believe this to be a scam call
Call center, Took a while to answer after I picked up, then unintelligible Indian gentleman, apparently called Sam from a company whose name I could not catch, doing something I could not catch (despite asking 'Sam' to repeat himself.
Scam pretending to be HMRC threatening arrest for not paying tax. If in doubt check HMRC's website and they state; "HMRC will never: •leave a voicemail threatening legal action •call threatening arrest" If this happens report it, it is a malicious and stress inducing scam

Called twice in two days, claimed to be named "Alice" the first time (unlikely, given her heavy Indian accent), claimed to be from BT Openreach. We use a VOIP system so I put the phone down. Second time, gave no name but claimed to be calling from "[y]our electricity provider". I asked her which one, she took a stab at EDF (wrong), so I told her to do her homework better and put the phone down again. I checked the phone number and it was the same both times 02031295

Very insistent woman claiming that I am due a payment because a 3rd party has admitted fault in a car accident in the past 12 months and I am due my excess back. Did not pursue the call but she effectively wanted me to complete a form over the phone and unwilling to send details in the post or elaborate on any information they hold about me. I had a phone call from 02922229992 clalming to be Eon, who asked if I wanted a 'Smart meter', they wanted my account details.... RED FLAG!!!!! Eon SHOULD have my account details - well, they certainly had my phone number. I contacted Eon and they told me to block the number it wan't them....! No name given. He said he was working for Amazon and needed to track down who had ordered 2 mobile phones from Amazon using my bank details (which he had) but had arranged to be delivered to an address that was not mine. To do this he wanted me to go into my bank app and arrange a transfer of £5000 to an account for which he provided and which my bank cleared as existing. I went along with it up to the point of transfer and he then became pressing and agitated.
Debt scam.
Number called me on my work mobile which is not connected to any of my personal bank accounts claiming a £900 debit was due to go through on my Visa Debit Card. Advised if I did not make the payment to press 1 to get it cancelled as a possible fraud. After pressing one international old tone kicks in and accented woman answers 'hello' No way is this anything to do with banking or fraudulent payments. Be careful.

Heavy, thick Indian accent claiming to be "David" with the noise of a crowded call centre in the background. The usual BS of a tacky scammer. Keeps phoning back despite my not answering.
