Fraud Call - I got a called from this number saying they were from O2 and offering me a 40% discount on my bill. They said I would receive a code from them and to read it out to them. I got 2 messages from O2 saying I had requested a security code and not to give the code to anyone and if I suspected fraud to call 202. The lady got really aggressive when I said I wouldn't give her the code as O2 shouldn't need the code. When I said I would check if this was ok she gave me another number to call to verify -

Suspected automated scam phone call. Claiming to be Amazon confirming purchase of Iphone 13 on my account. Says if you didn't order stay on the line no doubt you get though to someone asking for account/bank details. I just ended call and blocked. My Amazon account does not have this order on it so all okay.

Got a call from this number and when i answered it the phone went dead , looks like on these scam sites who use a computer to call numbers and if you answer they keep a record and then later on call you to sell you insurance etc.

Called my Husbands company phone and wanted details of his date of birth etc due to an accident he had had in his work van, he didn’t divulge anything and as the guy was asking for more details my husband said you should already know this information if you have the file as you say you have. I lady called me saying she had frozen a transaction from going to a offshore account in China. The currency was bitcoin. This was odd as these transactions go to a bit coin wallet then to a debit card that is registered on your account. She did no DPA to verify that I was the account holder. Then she wanted me to download a app I refused so she asked if I have a pc or laptop. I said pc she wanted to screen share. I would do no such things I told her then hug up.
