The person knew my name and address BUT the wrong postcode - it was way off! As I said it was the wrong postcode they asked me for mine which I refused to give and told them as they had the wrong information I was not the person they needed.

Click on the ‘report a phishing attempt’ page. Read through the information. Complete the scam report starting at the bottom of this police web page. When I said they should get in touch by sending me a letter, the person cut the phone. Trying to prey on innocent people who might fall for this.

This company is so persistent but I do believe it is as someone else said Scottish power just ask them to take you off their data base
Probably Indian fraud callers, keep calling with various random numbers and do not seem to believe I am not the person they have on their database - which must be quite old.
