SCAM Received a call from 01983 882 832 claiming to be a bank checking on two transactions they regarded as suspicious. Told to press 1 if ok and 2 to speak to someone. I hung up. Banks do not do this!

Could be a scam saying they are from amazon, About a bought iphone 14 which we don't see on our account email or bank account of being ordered hence ending the call

SCAM Not that it is very dangerous to have someone call up and say they have found a problem with your computer unless you give them more than the time of day, but it is definitely annoying.

Called regarding a shares account, tried to convince us to allow access to our computer. Refused shared access and she agreed to send the web address to access the account, tried to convince us by sending another $350 we could withdraw our account balance of $700 Absolute scam.

SCAM Phone sim swop scam designed to by pass the 2 step verification system and gain access to passwords, banking etc. Looks like a Birmingham company actually based in Karachi. Bit of digging on Linkedin etc confirm this and that is it a cover for many businesses including call centres. Tells you all you need to know.

Was told I have 4.2 bitcoins that need unblocking. Hmm. I thought I had given them all Prince Hakim to resolve a family issue and to release the £7.23 million lottery funds I had won.

Pretended to be virgin media and boost my booster!!! Was asking me to download application "screen sharing" which alerted me and I became very suspicious so I put the phone down

Automated voice threatening legal action by HMRC due to a letter I hadnt replied to if I didn't press 1. Definitely a scam.

SCAM Told me it was the royal mail and they wanted to send me an invoice for £1.55 for a packet with no postage. I asked how they got my number and they said the delivery office gave it to them. The supposed packet was in London and I am in Somerset. I called her bluff and said the delivery office did not have my number and she then hung up. They did not have an English accent.

SPAM at 2pm, the time when some old people are likely to be at home; a youngish man, he said his name was re-uben, "you don't know me but"... I said was he a scammer, cheers, and put phone down. He left me a voice text message, a bible message from jw.org. That is jehovah's witnesses. However when I rang bt 1572 to block his number, that number read back to me to block was my very own home phone number; his call had put my own number as that number to be blocked. SCAM called offering for my business to be featured in a publication which will highlighting legitimate local businesses and rogue traders (hopefully I fall into the former). Asked if I'd like to be featured as their "(my profession) of the year" for a fee, when I questioned it they hung up. Initially claimed to be from a crime monitoring unit, which was odd since they called from a mobile number.

SPAM I had a call this afternoon from 01491281131 The name was completely garbled but claimed there had been an attempt by Amazon for £300 this Morning, then a "suspicious- because I had never used this service before" International Money wiring service claim for £!,200. Then the usual Press 1 to cancel, 2 to speak to an advisor I did some checking and there is NO claims being made and the Phone Number has only been issued today, 5th April
